Biography Intro

Subah Jain is 25 years old (in 2024) and is the founder of the Satvic Movement. She was born in the year 1999 and is approximately 5 feet 4 inches in height. Satvic movement is an online educational platform that she runs along with her husband Harshvardhan Saraf. The platform is vocal for plant-based diet, nutrition and exercises for holistic well-being and even claims that many health problems can be reversed by adopting their nutrition regimen.

Childhood, Health Problems and Meeting Her Guru

Subah Jain was born in the year 1998 and her younger days was far from normal. In her own words, her time was mostly spent on visiting doctors for a host of health problems like COS, hypothyroidism, excessive hair loss and untimely menstrual cycles. She was also overweight. The situation became so severe that Subah had to take six medicines a day in order to combat the problems. Later on, the doctors told her that the problems are mainly lifestyle. One day, her father took her to a four-day camp of Acharya Mohan Gupta in 2017 who advised her to adopt a plant-based diet. Subah switched to a plant-based diet as advised by her guru and also started regular exercising. Within four months, she opines that her health problems had completely reversed. It was at this moment that she decided to study more about natural holistic well-being and decided to not pursue graduation.

Subah Jain Family

Subah Jain has two elder sisters and a younger brother named as Ishat Jain. Her father and mother name are Vinod Jain and Megha Jain. The duo are running an interior design company called maggpie since 2000. Her brother Ishat Jain is a school dropout at age 14 and has worked for his father’s company Maggpie since 2020. In August 2023, he started his own company named as Uncovered. He also runs Sunroof, a company which provides special lights and technology that tries to mimic the experience of receiving sunlight at home.

As the name implies, Subah Jain belongs to the Jain religion which is very close to vegan.

Subah’s father Vinod Jain has worked in many countries before finally settling in Delhi. Subah shares a strong bond with her father and consider him as his mentor. The name of her mission the Satvic movement was decided by her father only. Subah was trying to come up with the name for many months until she asked her father for help. Her dad placed bhagvat gita in the room and went out. After coming back in 5 minutes, he stated that the name is going to Satvic movement and Subah loved it. Subah opines that her father too benefitted after learning about the plant-based diet from the four day visit to the camp of Acharya Mohan Gupta as he was able to get rid of diabetes.

Subah Jain Education and Qualification

Subah Jain decided to not pursue graduation. Reversing her health-problems was life changing for her and she embroiled herself to know more about natural treatments through nutrition and diet. As Indian parents places heavy importance on graduation, Subah’s decision to not pursue graduation shocked them. Her social circle were not happy with this decision. They warned her that the career that she is seeking is an unconventional field which may not bear success. She wanted to learn about nutrition which helped her reversed all her health problems. Her parents were supportive of her though for going against an unconventional education and career path.

Subah had made up her mind by then and went to the Hippocrates Health Institute in Florida, the Matthew Kenney Culinary Institute, and the Living Light Culinary Institute in California where she learnt the science of nutrition that helps to heal the body. For two years, she embroiled in books to gain more knowledge on the subject of nutrition and vegan culinary. There she acquired the certification in Mastery and Gourmet Raw Vegan Cuisine in 2018 from Living Light Culinary Institute.

Meeting with Harshvardhan Saraf and falling in love

Like Subah, Harshvardhan too had fair share of health struggles in his childhood. From acne, psoriasis to sinusitis, Harsh had a difficult time in his teenage years. Becasue of health issues, he lacked confidence and was very introvert in his childhood. But his life changed completely after adopting a plant-based diet and soon his health problems went away.

Subah Jane’s Satvic movement was gaining a lot of traction on Internet. Her Youtube videos were getting views in million.The organization had started taking online appointements and were conducting health-related sessions regularly. In order to conduct Satvik Health Transformation workshops in Mumbai, Subah’s parents were on the lookout for an appropriate place. This is when her father came to know about Vedary, a health center which was run by Harshvardhan Saraf.

After finalizing the location, Subah used to conduct workshops at Vedary. The eight hour workshop provided ample time for Subah and Harsh to get to know each other. Also, Subah’s father met Harsh first and was fond of him. He subtly indicated to Harsh that it would be good for him and Subah to be together as they had overcame similar struggles and have similar mission i.e. to transform people’s lives through natural holistic means. Harsh later stated that he also wanted the same which was to marry Subah.

Subah and Harsh dated for six months before getting married on 12th December 2019. Subah was 21 at the time of wedding while Harsh was 29 years old. Harshvardhan date of birthday is 5th December 2023.

Youtube Channel, Networth and revenue of Satvic Movement

Subah’s Youtube channel Satvic movement was started in 2018. The channel has 303 videos till now and the earlier videos used to get millions of views. Total no. of views till now are close to 720,051,358. Therefore, by approximating an rpm close to $1 for Indian traffic, we can say that the channel has earned at least 7.5 crore rupess till now. However, the main revenue comes from selling books, kits and online sessions which have an average ticket price of Rs 1000.
